This model features a fixed 3/32" collet — it is not intended to be changed — and is fitted with a USA-made Duplex spring attachment for flexible shaft connectivity.

Duplex springs are not manufactured by Technique and are attached post-factory. Please review all usage guidelines below before operating this handpiece.

Important usage requirements for Duplex spring models:

• Duplex springs must not be bent beyond 45 degrees during use. Operating beyond this angle or during handpiece detachment can cause damage.
• Do not operate above 5,000 RPM. Use of a Foredom LX hi-torque, low-speed flex shaft motor is recommended.
• Duplex springs can fail during normal use. Consider purchasing replacement inner duplex springs and learning how to replace them — the inner spring is the most common part to fail.
• Replacement inner duplex springs are available: single piece Part #134.279 (Foredom HP76) or pack of 12 Part #134.280 (Foredom HP76B).
• The 60-day handpiece warranty does not cover the Duplex spring attachment or any related Duplex spring components — these carry no warranty.
• Cannot be operated in reverse.
