Ein Biegewellen-Set hängt einen Motor über der Werkbank auf und überträgt Bohr-, Schleif-, Polier- und Finish-Leistung über eine flexible Antriebswelle an Ihre Hand. Das Ottoflex S Modell 2 ist ein preisorientiertes Set mit zuverlässiger Steuerung und solider Verarbeitungsqualität. Ein Motor mit abgedichteten Lagern und einer Leistung von 1/8 HP läuft über einen Drehzahlbereich von 0–20.000 U/min. Ein verstellbares Bohrfutter-Handstück im Stil Nr. 30 mit Schlüssel wird mit einer reaktionsschnellen Kunststoff-Fußsteuerung kombiniert und ermöglicht sanftes Anlaufen bei niedriger Drehzahl sowie schnellen Materialabtrag. Das Set wird mit dem Motor, dem Handstück und seinem Schlüssel, der Fußsteuerung und einem nordamerikanischen 3-poligen Stecker geliefert und wird mit 110 V / 60 Hz bei 2,6 A betrieben.

Kompatibilität

Das Ottoflex S Modell 2 ist mit allen Foredom-Handstücken mit Schlüsselspitze und allen Foredom-Drehzahlsteuerungen für 110 V kompatibel. Die Abmessungen der Antriebswelle und Hülle mit Schlüsselspitze ähneln denen des Foredom SR-Modells.

Hinweise

  • Das Ottoflex S Modell 2 verwendet keine Teile des ursprünglichen Ottoflex. Wellen und Hüllen sind mit den beim Foredom SR verwendeten Teilen austauschbar.
  • Halten Sie den Antriebsstrang sauber und geschmiert, damit er ruhiger läuft und länger hält.
  • Beim Einstellen der Schlüsselspitze wird die Innenwelle so eingestellt, dass sie 3/4" (19 mm) über die äußere Hülle hinausragt, damit das Handstück korrekt einrastet. Lösen Sie die Madenschraube an der Motorkupplung, verschieben Sie die Hülle nach innen oder außen und ziehen Sie die Schraube anschließend wieder fest. Die Schlüsselspitze muss sicher in die Schlüsselaufnahme des Handstücks einrasten.
  • Hergestellt in China.

Garantie: 12 Monate auf den Motor; 3 Monate auf das Handstück, die Welle und die Hülle.

Good Flex Shaft

I got this because I heard it is a good alternative to the foredom. No complaints so far; runs quiet, good power. The sheath on the flex shaft seems very durable and the foot pedal is nearly exactly the same as the foredom one. The hand piece is fine unless you want a really thin gripping area.

The handpiece

I am reviewing the handpiece separately from the motor and shaft because the handpiece has a serious, dangerous flaw. Foredom’ s hand-piece, on which this is based, has an outside aluminum sheath which covers the rotor teeth. The teeth are not covered by the sheath on this handpiece. The top of my finger slipped into the teeth while the hand piece was in use. The skin was pinched between the teeth and was getting pulled down into the device. It was painful and horrible. I suggest you buy the foredom original hand piece.

Powerful, with some flaws

I couldn’t spend much on a rotary tool. I got this one and there are many things to recommend it. It is powerful, runs smoothly, and is very quiet, especially compared to my dremel.
On the down side, I didn’t notice that it doesn’t have a reverse. Or, an on off switch. I have to unplug it when I’m not using it, if I don’t, I could accidentally step on the foot control, causing the motor and handpiece to jump and run without me! Yikes.

Is this compatible with the Foredoom Key Tip H.15 Hand piece, Hammer ?

Yes. The Ottoflex uses a key tip flex shaft, the exact same key tip flex shaft used by Foredom. So the Ottoflex will work with all Foredom key tip handpieces like the H.15.
