Bausch & Lomb makes the best quality 10X Hastings Triplets you can buy. If color grading is your business, you can buy no finer loupe than the Bausch & Lomb 10X Hastings Triplets. All Bausch & Lomb Hastings Triplets are corrected for spherical and chromatic aberrations. The Bausch & Lomb Hastings Triplets are available in other power than 10X. The 7X has a very wide field of view but is not recommended for clarity grading. The 14X & 20X have higher magnification, but are hard to use because the smaller field of view will make clarity grading more difficult.

The 10X B & L triplet is still the best loupe for my money with almost no distortion on the edges and clean crisp focus. Larger diameter loupes just have distortion on the edges, the area in focus is always the same from loupe to loupe for triplets of any make or manufacture. You can't change the law of optics!
