Foredom LX Flex Shaft with C.SXR-1 Cast Iron Foot Control and Handpiece Choice

Stone setting, hammer work and other low-speed bench operations need a motor that holds torque down where the cut happens instead of running away from you. This kit pairs the 115V Foredom M.LX low-speed, high-torque motor with the Foredom 115V C.SXR-1 foot control in its cast iron housing and your choice of handpiece. The M.LX is a 1/10 HP permanent magnet, ball bearing motor topping out at 5,000 RPM, and it is the current successor to the discontinued EE, R and original L Series Foredom motors.

The C.SXR-1 is the heavy foot control of the TX and LX family: the cast iron housing stays put on the floor under hard daily use, and it gives you hands-free speed management at the bench. The separate motor and handpiece layout keeps the working end light. Fourteen handpieces are available on this kit, from hammer handpieces for setting to quick change and adjustable chuck handpieces for general bench work. If you already own the handpiece you want to run, pick the No Handpiece option and take the motor and control on their own.

• The Technique and Badeco options on this kit are the no duplex spring versions, as marked in the Available Options table. A duplex spring version of this same motor and control pair is stocked separately.
• The No Handpiece option is the motor and foot control only. Nothing is supplied to hold a tool.
• This is the 115V configuration. The same motor is also offered with the plastic-housed C.TXR-1 foot control and with the C.EMX-1 and C.EMXF-1 dial controls.
