Not that useful

The catch tray is much too close to the bench pin for you to actually use this with a jeweler's saw. That's what I bought it for, to have a second space for sawing where the filings can be collected underneath. Otherwise it's just a cabinet with some drawers, which I didn't really need and wouldn't have paid $175 for. Giving it two stars because it seems solidly made.

Is this bench made of solid hardwood or MDF, and does it come with a warranty for the surface finish?

The bench is made of rubberwood and not MDF. There is no warranty on any of our workbenches for surface finish, they are for working on and are not furniture

Sorry, we don't have the stands and never had them. Perhaps somebody else has them out there.

How do you use the aluminum catch tray while sawing? Where do you place it where the saw has enough room to move up and down?

Not a lot of room there for serious sawing. This mini bench is a compromise, sort of like cooking a thanksgiving meal in a mini home kitchen.
