Platinum Plumb Solders

Platinum plumb solders are relatively new in the world of jewelers solders.  They are available in  3 different temperatures, 1300, 1440 and 1500 Centigrade.  Unlike traditional platinum solders that contain little to no platinum, these platinum plumb solder are almost all platinum, making them perfect for manufacturing when the law requires full plumb weight.  The new platinum plumb solders solve many of the problems associated with the old traditional platinum solders, such as porosity, unsightly seams and poor color match.
