Genuine Badeco factory tips for hammer handpieces, Swiss made and precision hardened for superior performance. Swiss steel hardening expertise gives these tips an ideal combination of strength and hardness, allowing them to hold their shape significantly longer than competing brands. These top-quality hardened tips are also compatible with a variety of other hammer handpiece brands, including the Foredom 15 and 15D and Techno hammer handpieces.

This kit includes 9 assorted tips in 3 profile types — round, square, and rectangular — covering a practical range of working sizes, all stored in a labeled plastic Badeco storage box. If you wish to create a custom tip profile, the non-hardened 134.753 tip (sold separately) is recommended. Modifying hardened tips may require re-hardening using the factory process detailed below.

Notes

Re-hardening instructions (for non-hardened tip 134.753, or any tip where temper is lost due to excessive heat during modification):

1. Shape the tip as desired before hardening.
2. Hardening: Hold the piece at the threaded section with tweezers — do not damage the thread. Heat the front part with a blowlamp to 820°C (light cherry-red). Cool rapidly by plunging the tip head-down into an oil bath.
3. Remove oil: Polish lightly with fine sandpaper. Do not touch the point with bare fingers.
4. Tempering: Pass the piece slowly from back to front over the blowlamp to approximately 130°C — the color of the piece must not change. Cool immediately in an oil bath. If temperature is exceeded, the tip will lose its edge on first use; repeat from Step 2 (Hardening) if this occurs.
