Notes

• Do not operate in continuous mode. Ninety-five percent of cleaning occurs within the first 30 seconds; extended exposure can damage items.
• Do not place items directly on the tank bottom — always use a basket. Items placed on the tank bottom can damage the transducer and will void the warranty.
• Always keep the solution at least 3/4 full; ultrasonics perform best at approximately 7/8 capacity.
• Use only non-ammoniated, non-flammable ultrasonic cleaning solution. Pre-mix concentrates before adding to the tank. Warm solution provides best results.
• Allow the unit to run (degas) for a few minutes before placing items in the tank for optimal cleaning performance.
• Gold, silver, platinum, diamonds, rubies, sapphires, amethyst, and citrine are generally safe for ultrasonic cleaning.
• Soft, porous, or heavily included stones — including emeralds, opals, turquoise, pearls, amber, and ivory — may be damaged by ultrasonic cleaning.
• Ultrasonics do not remove tarnish.
• Do not submerge watches. If cleaning a metal watchband, use a holder to keep the watch head above the waterline and never clean non-waterproofed watches.
