Natural black chalcedony is exceptionally rare; virtually all black chalcedony on the market is grey chalcedony that has been chemically treated to achieve its deep, uniform black color. Black Onyx is the top-selling chalcedony in the gemstone market and has a rich history as a staple of Art Deco jewelry design.

These cushion flat top single bevel cabochons offer a classic shape well-suited for rings, pendants, brooches, and other settings requiring a polished, opaque stone with clean lines. Each stone presents a uniform opaque black appearance ideal for both contemporary and vintage-inspired metalwork.
