Description
These 5-1/2" flat nose–stepped round nose parallel pliers are purpose-built for bending and forming metal with precision and consistency. One jaw is flat and smooth; the opposite jaw features a 3-step round profile, allowing you to create uniform, symmetrical bails without the twisting common to tapered needle nose pliers. Spring-loaded handles keep the jaws in the open position at rest, reducing hand fatigue during repetitive forming work.
The maximum jaw opening is 1/4" (6mm). Both jaws are smooth to minimize marring on softer metals, and for extra protection, the jaws can be covered with a cut piece of urethane pad — see Part #125.716 (95 Durometer 6" x 6" Urethane Pads, Red) for a non-marring surface option.
Features
- One flat jaw paired with one 3-step round jaw for versatile bending and forming
- Parallel jaw action for consistent, even pressure across the workpiece
- Spring-loaded handles open automatically for reduced hand fatigue
- Smooth jaws minimize surface marring on metal
- Ideal for fabricating uniform, symmetrical, and straight bails
- Compatible with urethane jaw covers (Part #125.716) for non-marring work
