Foredom M.SR Flex Shaft Motor Only - 115V

The Foredom M.SR Flex Shaft Motor (134.189-M) is the 1/6 HP, 115V hang-up motor behind one of the most widely used flexible shaft systems in professional jewelry studios and metalsmithing shops. This listing is the motor on its own: a replacement for a worn SR motor, or the base of a setup built around a speed control and handpiece you already own. Paired with a compatible speed control it runs 0 to 18,000 RPM, forward or reverse, on ball bearings.

Note: A speed control and a handpiece are required and are not included. Do not plug the motor directly into a wall outlet.

The same M.SR motor is also sold matched with a speed control in the Foredom SR kits: the C.FCT-1 plastic foot control (motor and control only: K.8300SR-FTC-NOHP), the C.SCT-1 cast iron foot control (motor and control only: M.SR-SCT), and the C.EM-1 and C.EMF-1 dial controls, each with your choice of handpiece.

• A compatible speed control is required for safe operation. Do not plug the motor directly into a wall outlet.
• Reverse caution: when using screw-top mandrels with unmounted polishing wheels, the reverse feature may unscrew the mandrel screw. Use only pre-mounted polishing wheels that are permanently mounted on mandrels when operating in reverse.
• A separate handpiece is required and is not included.
