This distinctive hammer blends the functionality of a planishing hammer with a crosspein hammer, finished with the classic Fretz handle design. The result is a versatile goldsmithing tool equally suited to forming large jewelry pieces and working fine details.

The round, flat face excels at planishing, sizing rings, and making bezels with clean, even surfaces. The opposite end features a sharp, slightly curved crosspein—ideal for upsetting or texturing the edges of bezels in the signature style made famous by Todd Reed. With a total weight of approximately 195 grams including the handle, this hammer delivers enough heft for substantial forming work without sacrificing control on smaller elements. The head is crafted from hardened 420 stainless steel, and the padauk wood handle provides a comfortable, secure grip during extended use.
