The GRS 003-361 Copper Practice Plate gives engravers a dedicated surface to develop and refine their technique before working on finished pieces. Measuring 2" x 4" and cut from 16 gauge (0.050" / 1.27 mm) copper sheet, this plate provides a consistent, workable surface for practicing western bright cut engraving, lettering, scrolls, shading, and a wide range of other engraving styles. Each plate ships with a plastic protective coating on both sides to keep the surface clean and scratch-free until you're ready to begin.
