Description
The Ikohe Mini Magnetic Tumbler features an 80 mm diameter bowl and is designed for jewelers who work on one or two pieces at a time. With a capacity of approximately 2 ladies' rings and the ability to move up to 75 grams of stainless steel pins, this compact machine is ideal for hand-crafted, one-at-a-time jewelry production. If you require production-volume output, larger 150 mm or greater machines are recommended — but for the artisan jeweler finishing individual handmade pieces, this unit delivers professional results in a small footprint.
Built with many of the same heavy-duty features found in larger magnetic tumblers, this machine is designed to handle the rigors of daily use. It operates on 110V/60Hz power and ships complete with 100 grams of 0.5 mm × 5.0 mm stainless steel magnetic pins and a small sample of Otto MF 610 magnetic tumbler solution.
About Magnetic Tumbling
Magnetic tumbling has revolutionized jewelry polishing by cutting hours of expensive hand labor from the finishing process. The tumbler can polish hard-to-reach areas — including undersides of rings, undercuts, channels, and fine filigree — to a bright finish in as little as 30 minutes for gold and 45 minutes for platinum.
Thousands of smooth, tiny stainless steel pins act like miniature burnishers, hammering the surface of your jewelry to create a bright, shiny, work-hardened finish. Because the process is non-abrasive, there is no metal loss. The pins reach into the smallest crevices and channels far more quickly than conventional rotary or vibratory tumblers. Broad, smooth surfaces may then receive a final quick polish by hand or in polishing media.

Magnetic Tumbling — Pros & Cons
- Fast: Shines hard-to-reach places in minutes, saving significant hand-finishing time
- Burnishes & Shines: Hammering action work-hardens and brightens the entire piece
- No Metal Loss: Does not remove metal from your piece
- Not a Final Polish: May leave an orange-peel effect on smooth, broad surfaces
- Does Not Remove Scratches: Since no metal is abraded, pre-existing scratches and surface imperfections remain
