Suitable for soft precious and non-ferrous metals including gold, silver, copper, brass, and nickel silver up to 20 gauge thick. Use with a mallet or in a hydraulic press. The wood storage box features round holes sized to hold the heart-shaped cutters securely when not in use.

Notes

• Use the disc cutter on top of a rubber pad for support.
• Apply a cutting lubricant, such as Stay Sharp, to the cutting edges before use.
• Use a suitable mallet — never a nail-driving hammer. A brass mallet is recommended.
• Support the opposite side of the cutter with a sheet of the same diameter metal being cut to maintain alignment and reduce material sticking.
• Do not exceed the 20-gauge maximum thickness recommendation.
• Only cut soft non-ferrous metals. Never use on ferrous metals.
• Ensure cutting edges are facing down before striking.
• To prevent rust, lubricate cutting edges after use and store in a dry location.
• Use with a 95 durometer urethane pad to extend the life of the cutters.
