Description
The NC Black Delrin Sinking Mallet is a purpose-built forming tool designed for two essential metalsmithing tasks. The rounded end is ideal for sinking metal into bowl forms, while the flat end is used for bougeing — working out lumps and irregularities from previously formed metal. Each mallet is hand-turned from black Delrin and fitted with a traditional hickory handle. Recommended for use with the NC Black Hardwood Sinking Block. As with all NC Black tools, this mallet is hand fabricated.
