Description
The NC Black Small Nylon Mallet is optimally weighted for fine, detailed metalsmithing work. Its superb balance and nylon construction make it a versatile choice for jewelers and metalsmiths working across a range of forming techniques. Nylon is preferred over Delrin because it provides just enough bounce with each blow, improving hammer lift and giving the user greater control during both synclastic and anticlastic forming. The head is precision-machined from 6/6 Nylon and paired with a traditional hickory handle. Each NC Black tool is hand fabricated.
