The TANG holds up to 36 needle files across 3 tiered rings, with 12 different file shape symbols clearly marked at each slot. Files store point-down and tang-up, eliminating the hazard of reaching into a drawer of exposed file tips. The three tiers accommodate different file lengths — largest files in the inner ring, mid-size in the middle, and smallest in the outer ring.
