The Type D Hi Temperature Casting Crucible is engineered for high-temperature melting of platinum and dental alloys. Featuring a standard 8.5 mm diameter orifice and a generous 220 DWT capacity, this crucible is designed for use in vertical casting machines such as the Torit, Wizzard, and Platinum vertical casting machines. It has been extensively tested and proven reliable for casting high-temperature metals, including platinum and dental alloys.
Note: A larger orifice version with a 12.5 mm diameter is also available (part number 122.474), sharing the same outer dimensions and capacity as this model.
