Ikohe Inside Ring Engraving Machine

Cutting a clean, legible inscription inside a finished ring calls for a machine that holds the ring true and drags the diamond point at a steady depth. The Ikohe Inside Ring Engraving Machine is a precision instrument built for diamond drag engraving on the inside of rings, based on a design makers have used since the middle of the last century, and it produces consistent professional results job after job.

The machine engraves from a circular dial carrying block lettering. It is a fixed-ratio machine, so the height of the engraved characters is set by the size of the characters on the dial in use. The included dial produces diamond scratch engraving at either 1 mm or 2 mm in height, depending on which side of the dial is selected.

Engraving height is not adjustable, but the ratcheting advance mechanism lets the operator control the spacing between individual letters for precise, customized inscriptions.

This is a fixed-ratio machine, so engraving height cannot be adjusted independently of the dial. Character height is set by the dial being used.
