3M 2097 P100 Nuisance Level-Organic Vapors & Ozone Protection Filter-1 Pair

3M 2097 P100 filters provide NIOSH P100 (99.97%) particulate filtration with added relief from nuisance-level organic vapors and ozone (3M-recommended up to 10× OSHA PEL). Use with 3M 7500 Series half-face respirators (and other 3M bayonet-style facepieces—confirm your model) for jewelry, metals, and shop tasks that generate fine dusts and metal fumes.

Use For

• Particulate hazards: mineral processing dusts (e.g., coal, iron ore, flour, cotton), and other solid aerosols.
• Liquid/oil-based particles from sprays that do not also emit harmful vapors.
• Metal fumes produced during welding, brazing, and cutting.
• Organic vapor odors below OSHA PEL; ozone up to 10× OSHA PEL (3M recommendation).
• Asbestos: P100 filter efficiency meets requirements when used per regulatory guidance.

Do Not Use For

• Gases or vapors at or above OSHA PEL (or stricter applicable limits) unless combined with appropriate approved cartridges.
• Paint spraying or operations emitting harmful vapors without proper chemical cartridges.
• Sandblasting.
