Used primarily in hydraulic die forming, our urethane pads are specially formulated for increased cut-resistance and memory retention.  Pads function to provide the matching half to the form that you create.  It pushes the metal into every crevice and causes the metal to conform to the die.  The choice of which thickness pad to use is determined by how deep you want to push the form into the pad.  For longest life, compression should not exceed 2/3 of the thickness of the pad.  With proper use a urethane pad can last 10 years or more.
