Argentium Silver Sheet Metal - Price Per 6" x 1" Piece

Argentium® Silver sheet combines the brilliance of fine silver with the strength and workability of traditional sterling, while offering superior tarnish and firescale resistance. Alloyed with a small amount of germanium, Argentium® blocks oxidation that causes firescale during heating and soldering. This means less time spent on polishing and finishing, and more time focused on your craft.

Our Argentium® silver sheet is sold by the inch, in a 6" width. Each unit purchased equals a 6" x 1" piece. Multiple units will be supplied as one continuous piece unless otherwise requested. For example:

• Order 1 unit → Receive one piece measuring 6" x 1"
• Order 2 units → Receive one piece measuring 6" x 2"
• Order 6 units → Receive one piece measuring 6" x 6"

Maximum continuous length available: 6" x 12".

Ordering & Cutting Information

• Sheets are cut only along the 6" width, by full-inch increments (1"–12").
• To request multiple cuts, order the total number of inches and provide cutting instructions in the comment box at checkout.
• Example: To receive one 6" x 1" and one 6" x 2" piece of the same gauge, order a total of 3 units and specify your preferred cuts at checkout.

Workability Notes

½ hard Argentium® sheet provides strength and springiness while remaining easy to form. If a softer condition is needed, anneal gently with a torch or kiln. Avoid overheating to preserve the alloy’s germanium oxide layer that provides tarnish resistance.
