Product Details

Art Clay Silver Paste is the same material as Art Clay Silver but with a higher water content. It has the consistency of yogurt and can be diluted further with water. Use ArtClay Silver Paste to paint directly on organic items such as leaves and twigs. The Organic items will burn out during firing, leaving a lightweight hollow silver piece behind. It can also be used to combine unfired silver clay pieces or to fill unwanted cracks or pits. Typical firing time is 30 minutes at 1200°F (650°C). Can be fired in a kiln or a butane torch or on a stovetop.  Just like precious metal clay (PMC), ArtClay Silver is made in Japan.
