The Badeco MX-4 Evolution LCD is a professional bench micromotor system built for jewelers and metalsmiths who demand precision, expandability, and a clean digital interface. This kit ships as a complete, ready-to-run package: the MX-4 Evolution LCD control unit, a Carbon 465 quick-change handpiece, an RS2000 micromotor, a PC800 variable-speed foot control, and bench-mounting hardware. The updated LCD control box replaces the previous analog display and introduces a 6-prong V2 foot-control connector compatible with PC200 and PC800 pedals. The system is designed to grow—the control box supports up to four handpieces and four micromotors simultaneously, making it the foundation of a fully custom micromotor workstation.

Controls & Operating Modes

Selector Dial: chooses which handpiece is active (up to 4 positions).

Speed Control Dial: sets rpm manually.

Left Toggle (Hand / Foot): Hand = speed controlled by dial; Foot = speed controlled by PC800 pedal.

Center Toggle (Direction): Forward or Reverse.

Right Toggle (Pedal Behavior): Set-speed or variable-speed when in Foot mode with the speed dial above OFF.

Collet precision: Badeco collets are engineered for highly precise 3/32" (2.35 mm) shanks. For best results, use precision burs from makers such as Busch, Brasseler/Germany (Fox, Panther, Komet), and Otto Frei Swiss (Niqua). Variations in shank diameter common to some American-made HSS burs may cause reduced performance.
Special-order kit variants: The MX-4 Evolution LCD control unit is also available in single-handpiece kits with the 388 Exchangeable Collet HP, 380 Adjustable Chuck HP, 318 Combi Hammer HP, or 4LC100 Polishing/File HP. Please inquire for availability and pricing.
