This is the Baldor 353T 2-speed 1/4 HP polishing motor with taper fit shafts.   Baldor taper fit shafts use special taper fit spindles that slide onto the taper fit shafts and then are "tapped" at the spindle end for a secure friction fit.  Spindles are removed by rotating the spindle removing rings.  As the screw-fit rings rotate out, they push the friction fit spindles off the shaft.

 

The 353T measures 14-1/4" from tip to tip of the taper fit shafts. The shaft height is 5-1/4" measured from the middle of the shafts.  The 2 speed motor operates at 3450 RPM and 1725 RPM.  The 3 way motor toggle switch operates at high/off/low with off being the middle setting.
