This is the Baldor 359T single speed 1/2 HP polishing motor with taper fit shafts.   Baldor taper fit shafts use special taper fit spindles that slide onto the taper fit shafts and then are "tapped" at the spindle end for a secure friction fit.  Spindles are removed by rotating the spindle removing rings.  As the screw-fit rings rotate out, they push the friction fit spindles off the shaft.

 

The 359T measures 14-1/4" from tip to tip of the taper fit shafts. The shaft height is 5-1/4" measured from the middle of the shafts.  The single speed motor operates at 3450 RPM
