The Baldor 380WCT is a 1/3 HP, 2-speed polishing motor configured with a Wells Quick Change Chuck factory-mounted on the right side. The quick-change chuck operates similarly to an automotive clutch, allowing brushes and other accessories to be swapped out rapidly without stopping the motor—a significant time-saver in a busy production shop.
The left side features a standard tapered fit shaft. The unit measures 14-1/4" tip to tip across the tapered fit shafts; with the Wells Quick Change Chuck installed, overall length increases by approximately one additional inch. Shaft height is 5-1/4" measured from the center of the shafts.
The quick-change chuck accepts 3/32" diameter or 1/4" diameter shank tools only—no intermediate or larger shank sizes are compatible. The chuck ships with a set of included accessories to get you started immediately.
