When used for its intended purpose, which is removing and replacing spring bars that hold watch straps and watch bracelets to watch cases, the pins can last for quite a long time, but inevitably someone will try and pry something with one of the tips and break it. No worries mate, the tips are replaceable, simply unscrew them from the body and screw a new one in. Order 803153A for the slotted or notched tip, and 803153B for the pointed tip.
