• Do not place items directly on the tank bottom. Always use a basket. Contact with the tank bottom can damage transducers and will void the warranty.
• Do not operate in continuous mode. Maximum recommended cycle is 5 minutes. Most cleaning is complete within the first 30 seconds.
• Keep the tank topped off. Operate with at least 3/4 tank capacity; 7/8 full is optimal.
• Use non-ammoniated, non-flammable ultrasonic cleaning solution only. Pre-mix concentrates with water before adding to the tank.
• Degas before use: Run the unit with solution for a few minutes before cleaning items to improve performance.
• Safe materials for ultrasonic cleaning generally include gold, silver, platinum, diamonds, rubies, sapphires, amethyst, and citrine.
• Do not clean soft or porous stones such as emeralds, opals, turquoise, pearls, amber, or ivory — ultrasonic waves, heat, or temperature changes may cause damage.
• Ultrasonics do not remove tarnish.
• Watches: Do not submerge watch movements. Only metal bands may be cleaned, using the included holder positioned so the watch head remains above the waterline. Never place a non-waterproofed watch in the tank.
