The new full size stand up dust collector and polisher from Best Built is a fully enclosed unit-on-wheels so you can easily move this unit around the shop. The Best Built full size stand up (Best Built model number 12-001) unit features heavy-duty 12 gauge steel construction with fully enclosed illuminated polishing areas viewed through tempered glass hinged windows. This well designed dust collector has an extra opening for handpiece access on the right hand side of the box as well as left and right hand access that you custom cut to your personal satisfaction. The Best Built Double Sided full sided dust collector equals the suction power of the Handler 75 series and has more suction power than the Quatro Stand-up units for far less money than either brand.
The Best Built full size stand up dust collector has a 3/4 HP, 3450 RPM, heavy duty fully sealed polishing motor, with 1/2” straight shafts for fitting the included tapered spindles, and is powered by a powerful 1/2 HP suction motor that deliver 450 CFM thru the twin openings. Easy access bag style pre-filtering system helps you collect most all of the precious metal dust, while the final full size filter captures the rest.
The Best Built Double Sided full size dust collector runs on 110v/60hz and draws 20 amps. The unit measures 37”L x 22”W x 52”H with a 35” table height and a storage area built into the top of the dust collection unit. The Best Built Double Sided stand up dust collector has a average operating sound rating of 85 decibels** which can be lowered to 78 decibels by venting the exhaust port with 3" diameter venting hose much like you do with a household dryer. You can run the venting hose out a window or into any suitable exterior vent. You can also simply run the venting hose to terminate in a cardboard box with slits cut into it. However you vent the unit, you will gain a noticeable reduction in sound by doing so. Ships truck freight only on a pallet with the top polishing unit separated from the lower dust collection unit. Drop ships only, not available for pick up in Oakland.
To assemble the unit, simply bolt the top polishing unit onto the lower dust collection unit with the supplied 4 connecting bolts.
