Single unit weight: -- lbs / -- kg
A professional-grade bezel setting tool set covering a wide range of sizes, made in Poland. This set of 22 punches spans 1.5mm to 9.9mm (inside diameter) and is ideal for quickly finishing round bezel settings, closing pre-cut or pre-notched settings, and working with tube settings. All punches and a single holding handle are stored in a hinged wood storage box for organized, protected storage.
To use with tube settings: select heavy-walled tubing approximately 0.5mm larger than the stone's diameter, cut the seat with a setting burr exactly matching the stone size, seat the stone, then burnish the bezel closed with the appropriately sized punch. For example, a 3mm round faceted stone calls for tubing with a 3.5mm–3.8mm outside diameter and a 3mm setting burr.
The punch handle features a set screw to secure each punch and a metal insert at the top of the handle, allowing light strikes with a riveting hammer when hand pressure alone is insufficient for closing bezels or prongs.

Before first use, inspect the interior of each punch and polish as needed. A smooth, polished interior finish helps prevent marring of settings. Otto Frei recommends this practice for all bezel setting tools. A bullet-shaped polisher (such as Part #110.342) or similar tool can be used to refine the interior finish.
