Castaldo LiquaGlass™ is a clear, two-part liquid molding rubber for creating see-through RTV molds with zero shrinkage. Ideal for jewelry mold making, LiquaGlass™ offers clarity, flexibility, and strength—so you can literally see your work as you cut and inject wax. This 1 kilo kit includes 450 grams each of Part A and Part B and cures at room temperature.

Recommended Accessories

• Use with Castaldo Liquid Rubber Mold Frames such as the 1″ Mold Frame (122.627).
• Accurate digital scale (± 0.1 g resolution) required for measurement.
• Vacuum pump for de-bubbling the mixture before pouring.

Instructions for Use

1. Shake both Part A and Part B well before use.
2. Measure equal parts by weight (1:1 ratio) using a precise scale — do not estimate or measure by volume.
3. Pour Part A into Part B and mix by hand for 3–4 minutes until color is uniform, scraping sides and bottom of the bowl.
4. Vacuum the mixture for about 5 minutes to remove air bubbles — it should rise and collapse once.
5. Pour into the mold frame, avoiding air entrapment, then vacuum again for 3 minutes.
6. Allow to cure at room temperature (77 °F / 25 °C) for 16–24 hours. Do not disturb during cure.

Notes & Tips

• Porous materials (wood, terra cotta, plaster) must be sealed with wax, PVA, or potter’s soap before casting.
• LiquaGlass™ is not a silicone rubber; follow the manufacturer’s mixing and vacuuming instructions carefully.
• Longer cure times produce stronger, more stable molds without deformation.

Safety & Storage

• Store unmixed components in a cool, dry area (50–80 °F / 10–27 °C).
• Keep containers sealed to prevent moisture contamination.
• Wear gloves and protective eyewear when mixing and vacuuming.
