Rose Quartz derives its name from its pastel pink appearance and ranges from very light to medium-dark pink. Known as the "love stone", this gem represents romance and was used in healing potions in the medieval period. The majority of Rose Quartz exhibits a cloudy translucence, due to internal microscopic mineral inclusions and internal fractures. Clean with warm, soapy water. Use of ultrasonic is usually safe but avoid the steamer.
