Concave-Stepped Round Nose Bending and Forming Parallel Pliers

These 5-1/2" parallel pliers feature a dual-jaw design purpose-built for bending and forming metal with consistent, repeatable results. One jaw is flat and tapered, while the opposing jaw has a 3-stepped round profile in three distinct diameters — giving jewelers and metalsmiths precise control over curves, loops, and bails. The parallel jaw action ensures even pressure across the workpiece, eliminating the twist commonly introduced by tapered needle nose pliers. Spring-loaded handles keep the tool in the open position when not in use, reducing hand fatigue during extended work sessions. Smooth jaws protect soft metals and wire surfaces during forming. Made in Pakistan.

These pliers are especially well suited for fabricating bails that are uniform, symmetrical, and straight. To protect delicate surfaces, cover the jaws with a cut piece of urethane jaw cover (Part #125.716) for a non-marring finish.
