Single unit weight: -- lbs / -- kg
This updated 12" guillotine shear is sized for jewelry and small metalsmithing sheet work, combining a solid bench presence with a smoother, lighter feel than earlier heavy-duty models. As you pull the handle through a cut, the blade tracks down in a precise, controlled arc for clean, straight shears.

This newer 12" guillotine shear is lighter than Durston’s original heavy-duty model while retaining a robust frame and four-edge blade design. It is ideal for cutting non-ferrous sheet such as copper, brass, silver, and gold up to its rated capacity, as well as light-gauge mild steel.
For best results, mount the shear securely to a solid work surface and rotate or replace the blade edges as needed to maintain clean cuts.
