Durston 1052 Double D4 158mm Stacked Rolling Mill

The new D4-158 mm stacked Durston rolling mill is more than just a larger version of the smaller Durston D2 mill. Besides the addition of lower side rolls, the D4-158 mm has thicker output rolls and a newly designed reduction gear system that allows for the use of an included second handle when faster roll speed is required. The primary design feature of the D4-158 mm is the larger 158 mm (6-3/16") wide roller width making the pattern rolling of standard 6" wide sheet metal possible.

The Durston D4-158 features a triple stage gear reduction with two turning levers that are engineered to assure easy rolling with minimal effort. The power this gear reduction delivers is ideal for the rapid reduction of rod and cast bar to the required size.
