Single unit weight: -- lbs / -- kg
The MF-1000 Electric Melting Furnace delivers reliable, high-performance melting capacity in a compact 110V unit suited for professional jewelers and metalsmiths. Its standout feature is a special alloy melting element rated to 1900°C (3450°F) — far above the machine's maximum operating temperature of 1150°C (2100°F). This wide margin between operating maximum and element failure point means the heating element experiences significantly less thermal stress than conventional electric furnaces, contributing to longer element life and more consistent performance.
A durable ceramic melting chamber provides a safe, long-lasting melting environment. Replacement parts are stocked for ongoing serviceability, including heating elements (122.394), thermocouples (122.395), and ceramic flanges (122.396).
This furnace displays temperature in Celsius only — it does not have a Fahrenheit readout. Ensure all operators are comfortable working in Celsius before use.

Temperature display is in Celsius only. This unit does not display Fahrenheit. Confirm all operators understand Celsius temperature values before use.
The furnace requires a dedicated 15-amp rated circuit. Do not use on an undersized circuit.
Crucible dimensions listed reflect a brand-new crucible. Graphite will wear with repeated heat and air exposure — dimensions will change over time.
Temperature Setting Instructions: In normal SV/PV display mode, press the Set button so the SV display flashes. Use the < button to navigate to the desired temperature digit, then use the ∨ and ∧ buttons to adjust the value. Press Set again to confirm and return to normal display. To access parameter settings, hold Set for 3 seconds in normal display mode. All factory parameters are preset — do not alter them. If the operator does not manually return to the main display, the unit will automatically revert after 30 seconds without saving any unsaved changes.
