The unit ships ready to use, with left and right tapered spindles already included, and accepts polishing buffs up to 4" in diameter. A single knob handles both power and speed, simplifying operation at the bench. The lathe sits on four rubber feet and features two front-mounted holes so it can be screwed securely to a work surface — a recommended practice for best results. Pair it with a polishing hood and a vacuum system such as a shop vac to create a complete polishing station.
With tapered spindles mounted, the unit spans 13-1/4" across. The base measures 6-1/4" wide by 5" deep, and the spindle center sits 4" above the table. Two wood screws for surface mounting and one hex key for securing the tapered spindles to the 1/4" diameter shafts are supplied with the unit.
