Ferris File-A-Wax Style T-875 ring tubes are the carving wax of choice for master jewelers and metalsmiths working in the lost wax casting tradition. Each tube measures 6" (152mm) in length with a 7/8" outside diameter and a 5/8" (15.9mm) centered round hole — ideal for carving rings, cuff links, pendants, medallions, and more. These waxes are easily sawed, carved, drilled, milled, and turned on a lathe, and they burn out cleanly from investment molds without leaving residue. They will stand up to rough handling and will not soften in the hand during carving.
Available in five color-coded hardness formulas to suit every carving technique — from highly flexible thin-wall sections to CNC lathe work — Ferris File-A-Wax ring tubes give craftspeople precise control over the model-making process.
