Foredom H.15SJ Euro Style Slip Joint Hammer Handpiece

The Foredom H.15SJ hammer handpiece has a slip joint style connection for use with the European slip joint style standard used in many parts of the world. It is an excellent choice for the jeweler who needs a hammer handpiece, but can't justify spending more for the top of the line Badeco Swiss made reciprocating hammer handpiece. Supplied with a hardened tip. Tips are interchangeable with the Swiss-made Badeco hammer handpiece.

The Foredom H.15SJ hammer handpiece is a reciprocating rather than rotary action handpiece. It is used primarily for stone setting but can also be used for texturing, most often with the pave point (diamond tip) accessory, Otto Frei part number 153.195. The diamond tip will produce a bright cut stippled effect. You can also use this handpiece with the Foredom Carbide Tip (HP10212 Otto Frei part number 134.301) for marking or scribing hardened steel, and all the Foredom hammer handpiece tips.  Threads on these tips are 4-48 US thread, the same as the popular Badeco tips, so all Badeco hammer handpiece tips will fit too. Use at low speed only (0-5,000 rpm) and only use in forward rotation. The Foredom H.15SJ hammer handpiece has a 1/32" stroke and its impact force can be adjusted from light too heavy by turning the silver knurled adjusting ring. Requires periodic lubrication with MS10005-Handpiece Lube, Otto Frei part number 134.343.
