Foredom H.50C Chisel Handpiece Kit With Six Chisels

The Foredom H.50C Chisel Handpiece Kit delivers power-assisted carving for work in wood, plastic, plaster, and soft carving stone. The H.50 is a reciprocating hammer-type handpiece that requires only light pressure to engage the hammering chisel action, giving carvers greater control and reduced fatigue during extended sessions.

The handpiece attaches to any Foredom or other flex shaft equipped with a standard (USA) key tip shaft. Its profile mirrors the popular H.44T but features its own rugged textured plastic barrel and tapered aluminum tip for a distinctive, durable build.

For best results, the Chisel Handpiece is recommended for use with the 1/3 HP Series TX motor. It is also compatible with the 1/6 HP Series SR motors—in forward rotation only. Optimum performance is reached between 1,000–8,000 RPM. Use of a benchtop dial speed control is recommended: part number 134.192EMX (Foredom C.EMX-1) for the TX Series, or part number 134.330 (Foredom C.EM-1) for the SR Series, allowing carvers to set and maintain any desired speed within the recommended range.

This kit includes the H.50 handpiece together with a six-piece chisel set—the same chisels sold separately in the Foredom AKHK550 Chisel Kit (Otto Frei part no. 134.296).

Notes

When using with the 1/6 HP Series SR motor, operate in forward rotation only. For consistent speed control, a benchtop dial speed control is strongly recommended: Foredom C.EMX-1 (Otto Frei part no. 134.192EMX) for TX Series motors, or Foredom C.EM-1 (Otto Frei part no. 134.330) for SR Series motors. The included chisels are identical to those sold in the Foredom AKHK550 Chisel Kit (Otto Frei part no. 134.296).
