The Foredom K.TXH440 Industrial Flex Shaft Kit with Hanger is built for demanding applications where standard flex shaft systems fall short. This complete kit centers on the M.TXH Hi-Torque Motor — a heavy-duty permanent-magnet motor rated at 1/3 hp with a top speed of 15,000 rpm — delivering more torque across the entire speed range than any other Foredom flex shaft motor. It is the go-to choice for heavy-duty grinding tasks such as porting motorcycle and car heads or finishing large sculptures. The kit ships with a cast iron foot pedal speed control, a specialized square drive handpiece, a double flex shaft motor hanger, and an accessory kit — everything needed to get started right out of the box.

  • C.SXR Cast Iron Foot Speed Control: Gray powdercoat finish, extra weight for greater stability, special electronics for exclusive use with M.TXH and other permanent-magnet motors
  • H.44HT Handpiece: Square drive collet-style handpiece for exclusive use with Series TXH, SRH, and LXH heavy-duty flex shafts; includes 3/32", 1/8", and 1/4" collets
  • Tapered handpiece design allows for close and safe work
  • H.44HT is not part of Foredom's quick-disconnect system — it requires square drive inner shafts only, not Key Tip shafts
