The Foredom K.2221-2 Flex Shaft Kit with Hanger is a complete professional rotary system built around the SR Series motor, designed for jewelers, metalsmiths, and craftspeople working in 230V environments. This kit pairs a powerful, reversible motor with a lever-style quick-change handpiece, a foot-speed controller, and a 43-piece accessory kit — everything needed to get to work right away.
The Foredom M.SR motor delivers 1/6 HP and runs up to 18,000 RPM, providing ample power to work through nearly any material without stalling under normal load. The motor uses ball bearings for smooth, reliable operation and connects via a Key Tip flexible shaft and matching sheath, compatible with a wide variety of Foredom and other manufacturers' Quick Disconnect (QD) USA-type handpieces. The motor can also be converted to Heavy Duty Square Drive or European standard Slip Joint use by fitting the appropriate shafts and sheaths (sold separately). Longer Key Tip shaft and sheath combinations — 43‑5/8" and 63‑1/4" lengths — are also available separately.
