Foredom K.2245 230V export stone-setting flex shaft kit for 220–240 V regions, combining a high-torque M.LX 230V motor, matched C.TXR-2 230V foot control, two handpieces, and a burs/drills kit. At the bench it feels tuned for slow, controlled cutting where each tap of the hammer and each bur mark is deliberate.

Compatibility

  • M.LX 230V motor must be used only with its dedicated controls: C.TXR-2 230V (plastic housing), C.SXR-2 230V (cast iron housing), or EMX 230V bench-mounted dial control.
  • Designed for 230 V AC systems in regions where 220–240 V is standard; match the kit voltage to your mains supply.
  • Not intended for use with standard SR-series controls or other brand speed controls.
  • H.18 handpiece accepts 3/32" shank burs and drills; H.15 hammer handpiece should be run at low speeds, typically under 3,000 RPM.

Notes

  • 230V export kit: rated for 230 V AC mains in regions with 220–240 V supply. Supplied with a North American 3-prong plug—use a plug adapter that matches your local outlet. Do not use on 100–127 V circuits.
  • The LX motor requires its own special control; using non-LX/TX series controls or controls from other manufacturers may damage the motor.
  • For hammer setting, start at very low speeds and increase gradually until you find a controlled striking rate that suits your work.
  • Inspect and maintain the flex shaft and handpieces regularly for the smoothest running and longest service life.
