Foredom K.2252-2 Chisel Carving Kit - 230V

The Foredom K.2252-2 Chisel Carving Kit is a complete 230V export system designed for chisel carving, stone setting, and detailed work in wood, plastic, plaster, and soft carving stone. This kit is configured for countries where 230V power is standard and ships with a North American 230V 3-prong plug — an adapter is required for local outlets outside North America.

At the heart of this kit is the M.LX-2 230V permanent magnet flex shaft motor, a high-torque, low-speed motor that tops out at 5,000 RPM — an ideal speed limit for chisel handpiece work that demands consistent, controlled power rather than high rotational speed. The LX series uses a dedicated plug style designed for use with TXR, SXR, and EMX speed controls, which convert AC current to the DC current required by the LX motor. These motors are not compatible with Series SR speed controls.

Speed is managed by the included C.EMX-2 230V tabletop dial speed control in a plastic housing. The EMX control delivers the steady, constant speed the H.50 chisel handpiece requires for consistent hammering action.

The H.50 Chisel Handpiece is a reciprocating hammer-type handpiece that provides power-assisted chiseling across a range of carving materials. Light pressure on the workpiece engages the hammering action. It attaches to any Foredom or compatible flex shaft with a standard US key tip shaft. The H.50 shares a shape with the popular H.44T but features its own rugged textured plastic barrel and tapered aluminum tip. Because the H.50 should not be run at high speeds, the LX motor's built-in 5,000 RPM limit makes it a natural match.

The kit includes 17 chisels across three sets, covering a broad range of carving profiles. Flex shaft grease and an accessory tray are also included.
