Foredom MAMH-2 Double Flex Shaft Motor Hanger with Screw Down Base Mount

Motor Hangers conveniently and securely suspend hand-up style motors and other power tools above the work bench for ready access to your work.

The new MAMH-2 motor hanger (Otto Frei part number 134.616) replaces the MAMH-4 motor hanger in the Foredom line. The MAMH-2 features a 3-piece hexagonal support rod and top safety hook rod for holding one or two motors. It comes with a base that screws or bolts to the side or top of a bench for permanent mounting, it can also be mounted vertically to a wall.

Bench space is valuable and this Foredom motor hanger allows you to mount the bracket on the side of your bench keeping the top clear for other uses. The bracket also allows you to raise or lower the shaft to suit the user.

The new MAMH-2 clamp on motor hanger includes the MAHR-2 handpiece rest and two UA10658 Spring Safety Clips (Otto Frei part number 134.626). The handpiece rest allows you to secure your handpiece to the support rod so it is not just hanging in mid-air and the Spring Safety Clips prevents jumping and twisting of the high torque motors during start-up and acceleration.

Assembly of the hanger is simple with the supplied couplings and set screws. When properly assembled, it is as strong as any model Foredom has previously offered. An important added benefit is that the new design allows for less expensive shipping, as the old units were shipped in much larger boxes.
