The Foredom M.LX-230V-C.TXR-2-230V-H.30 is a complete 230V export flex shaft kit engineered for professional jewelry stone setters. This configuration includes the M.LX-230V high-torque, low-speed motor with shaft and sheath, a genuine Foredom H.30 adjustable Jacobs chuck handpiece, and the C.TXR-2-230V foot-operated speed control. It is sold with a North American 3-prong plug; use a plug adapter to fit your local outlet.

The M.LX series motor is a 1/10 HP permanent magnet ball bearing motor with a maximum of 5,000 RPM. Unlike standard flex shaft motors, the M.LX is purpose-built to deliver constant torque at low speeds — the operating range where professional stone setters work. The motor will not bog down under load, making it equally well suited for low-speed drilling applications. It is also the recommended motor for use with hammer handpieces, such as the Badeco hammer handpiece, which should only be operated at low speeds, typically under 3,000 RPM.

The M.LX-230V requires its own dedicated foot control. Use only the Foredom C.TXR-2-230V (plastic housing) or C.SXR-230V (metal housing) foot control with this motor. For bench-mounted speed control, use the Foredom EMX-230V bench-mounted control exclusively. Using this motor with any other control unit or brand may damage the motor.
