Supplied with a standard key-tip flexible shaft and sheath for use with quick-disconnect style handpieces from this and other manufacturers. The SR motor and C.FCT-1 foot control are designed for 115 V North American power supplies.
Reversing motor direction can extend the life of certain abrasives, improve symmetry when grinding or carving and help polish complex forms more evenly. Reverse also makes it easier to back out small drill bits that become stuck.
Caution when using screw-top mandrels with unmounted polishing wheels: running in reverse may loosen the screw and release the wheel. Use only pre-mounted wheels that are permanently fixed to their mandrels when working in reverse.
