Fretz HMR-7 Double Ended Insert Hammer With 9 Plastic Tips

The Fretz HMR-7 is the single most important forming hammer in the Fretz line. With it, you have the greatest variety of hammer shapes for forming, all in one hammer. If you view any of the Fretz videos, you will see that this is the hammer most likely in Bill Fretz's hand for many of the projects. The Double Insert Hammer has nine plastic ends that work metal without leaving marks. The plastic ends are held in place by a set screw, with a hex key included for removal. The nine different shapes of the inserts duplicates planishing, embossing and raising hammers. Useful for forming metal without stretching. The hammer has enough weight to move metal with assurance.

Like all the Fretz hammers, the polished rosewood handles are smooth and perfect. The head is stainless steel.
